In this workshop you will learn to make your own pasties using Siren Santina's down and dirty "need 'em for a show tonight" method. Course covers construction and decoration of basic round pasties, methods for tassel making and attachment, and a discussion of alternate materials and techniques not included in the demonstration. Students interested in a hands-on learning experience can produce their own pasties alongside the instructor, while students not interested in constructing pasties in class may simply observe and apply the techniques to their pastie-crafting at a later time.
A pastie-making supply kit, if not provided, is available for purchase for a nominal additional fee (usually around $5.00). The inclusion of pastie-making supplies in workshop cost varies by session and location. See specific event invitations for further details.
